Your files

All file processing (PDF, image, document, data, audio, video and OCR) happens entirely within your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers and we never see or store them.

Cookies & advertising (website)

On our website we use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings.

Advertising in our mobile apps

Our free iPhone and Android apps are supported by ads delivered through Google AdMob. To show ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process device and usage information, including a mobile advertising identifier (Apple IDFA / Google Advertising ID), a coarse/approximate location derived from your IP address, device type and OS version, and ad interaction data. This information is used to deliver, measure and (where you consent) personalise ads, and to keep the apps free.

Your control over app advertising:

• iOS: when you first open the app you are asked, via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether the app may track you. If you decline, you will receive only non-personalised ads. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Android & EEA/UK: where required, a Google-certified consent (UMP) message is shown so you can accept or manage personalised advertising. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
• Where the apps offer an optional "watch an ad to unlock" feature, it uses an AdMob rewarded ad; declining simply means that optional feature stays locked for that session.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits and tool usage. No personally identifiable information is collected. As with the website, files you convert in the apps are processed on your device and are never uploaded.
